CPAT - Information for Test - Takers
Questions
Email Can Test with any CPAT questions or problems.
Applicant Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of first scheduled session
- Must provide government-issued Drivers License or State I.D. card
Fees
- $170 includes Orientation Sessions, Practice Test Session and CPAT Test
- Fee also includes the opportunity to satisfy the State requirement to perform a ladder climb
- $26 for a replacement CPAT identification card
Registration
- Visit Schedule and Registration to print registration form
- Registration Form and payment must be received by NIPSTA at least one week (7 days) prior to your first requested session
- Registration Forms are confirmed in the order in which they are received and scheduling is done on a "first-come first-served" basis
- Registration confirmation will occur via email. Please write legibly. If an e-mail is not received 3 days prior to a your first scheduled session, please email Can Test
Payment
- All CPAT fees must be paid in full by personal check, money order or cashier's check before a CPAT registration is scheduled or confirmed
- Make your $170 fee payable to "NIPSTA" - sorry, credit cards are not accepted
Refunds
- Refunds will not be given once your payment is received by NIPSTA
Rescheduling
- At the discretion of NIPSTA, an Orientation, Practice Test or Test Session may be rescheduled if requested at least 7 days in advance of your scheduled CPAT session
- Failure to attend a scheduled CPAT Test will result in forfeiture of all fees paid
- Email Can Test at least 7 days before a CPAT session to reschedule your date
- All fees will be forfeited if an attempt to complete the CPAT Test is not accomplished within 12 months of submission of your original CPAT registration and payment
Proper Attire
Proper Attire Must Be Worn To Participate During Any CPAT Session. Proper attire includes:
- Long pants (No shorts)
- T-shirt or sweatshirt
- Footwear with no open heel or toe
- No loose or restrictive jewelry, including watches
