Public Safety Awareness Day - Fun For All Ages

Join us for an exciting day of fun and adventure at the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy (NIPSTA). For the first time ever, the NIPSTA Campus will be open to the public on June 8, 2008 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Attendees of all ages may participate in a variety of hands-on activities. Scenarios will be staged to showcase the skills of local police, fire, and public works professionals. Rain or shine, indoor and outdoor activities are planned for the young and young at heart.
This provides a unique opportunity to not only meet and greet fire, police and public works professionals, but also get an up-close look at the tools of their trade!
Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
NIPSTA Campus 2300 Patriot Boulevard - Glenview, Illinois
Admission is $5 per person. Children under three years of age will be admitted free. Ticket sales are available at the door - cash only. Admission fees support the NIPSTA Foundation in providing specialized training to local fire, police, and public works employees. Contributions also support educational programs that improve community safety.
This event will take place rain or shine, both indoor and outdoor activities are available!
Free parking is located across the street from the NIPSTA Campus entrance.
Food and beverage service is available on-site.
Participants of all ages may join the fun. Bring your cameras to capture the moments of a day to remember!
