NIPSTA offers this unique opportunity for local fire departments to participate in hands-on training involving liquefied petroleum gas. The four-hour session includes a briefing about LP properties and behavior. A variety of fire fighting scenarios are provided afterwards.

This program is available on the NIPSTA Campus with support from the Illinois Fire Service Institute and the Illinois Propane Education and Research Council.
Participating personnel must provide their own NFPA-compliant protective equipment and SCBA.
