This 40-hour program is designed to provide students with basic vehicle and machinery extrication skills.
Training topics include safety, tools and equipment, vehicle stabilization, and patient access and removal. These will be addressed in a classroom environment and during multiple extrication training scenarios.
Practical evolutions daily
Students are required to provide their own equipment which consists of full turnout gear, including hand and eye protection.
This program may require students to travel off-site on multiple training days to complete course objectives. Details will be provided on the first day of the program.
