Fire Service Instructor I (40hr)

NIPSTA’s Fire Service Instructor I program is designed to exceed the requirements outlined by the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal “OSFM”. Fire Service Instructor I provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver instruction from a prepared lesson plan, using instructional aids and evaluation tools, as defined by NFPA 1041.

DSCN3780OSFM Exam: In order to be eligible to take the state exam at the end of this course, students need to be registered no less than 35 days prior to the last day of the program. Visit our OSFM FAQ page for more information.
