LOCK OUT / TAG OUT & ARC FLASH COURSE
This four-hour Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash Safety course is designed to provide employees with critical knowledge to safely control hazardous energy and electrical risks in the workplace. The Lockout/Tagout portion (2 hours) meets OSHA 1910.147 requirements and focuses on preventing unexpected equipment startup through proper energy isolation, lockout procedures, and worker responsibilities. The Arc Flash portion (2 hours) addresses electrical hazards in accordance with NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910 Subpart S, and OSHA 1926 Subpart K, including arc flash awareness, shock hazards, boundaries, and required protective measures. Emphasis is placed on practical application, hazard recognition, and compliance to reduce the risk of serious injury or fatality.
